Overall, I really enjoyed using Diigo in class! I learned about a lot of new websites and resources and how easily available they are to us. Since I want to be an English or a Creative Writing teacher so the majority of the materials we will be using are going to be either hardcopy books, pdf of books, or peer workshopping. None of these materials are compatible with Diigo, therefore, I don't know how often I'd be able to use it in class. I think that I could figure out an assignment maybe for poetry where the students can go and find a poetry website database (Poetry Foundation) and they can used the Annotation tool on Diigo to answer questions about a chosen poem. I think that would work pretty well. Cool! When you think about it, teachers are on the front lines of using and distributing new technologies.
